Fiter started with a passion for Fineract and the power of the Fineract community through a remote collaboration between Javier Borkenztain and Robert Jakech. With presence in different continents from the get-go, Fiter was living up to its global reputation from its inception. Fast forward to today with Fiter’s global presence in over +20 countries and you know you’re covered anywhere. We believe that Inspiration can be found everywhere. That’s why we’re dedicated not only to creating innovative, reliable solutions, but also to fostering a community of likeminded individuals passionate about changing the world through open-source technology.

Javier is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in the Fintech and Open Source industry. Javier is an Apache Software Foundation Member and PMC member of the Apache Fineract project. He is a Mechanical Engineer and MBA.

If we were to reprise any of the roles in Breaking Bad TV series, Robert would be "Saul Goodman" best known for Better Call Saul. In Fantasy World of Game of Thrones, his character would be "Tyrion Lannister". Like Saul Goodman, Robert is the self proclaimed Showman in Fiter. He perfectly fits into call "Robert" when you want fireworks and still call Robert when deep thinking and all hands on deck is required. The parallels of Saul Goodman (Showmanship) and deep thinking to improvise / circumvent (Tyrion Lannister) is what makes Robert, Robert.
